Im nearing the end of a long build on a 66 coupe restomod. It has a 4.6 DOHC engine and quite a few other mods but the exterior looks like a GT. I have a hood scoop off of a Roush car that is painted but it is a bolt on. Look at the pics and help me decide scoop or no scoop.

I like it without the scoop. The lines are cleaner.

Very nice. It looks good either way. I'd almost say that with the GT fog lights, it looks better without the scoop. To me, the fog lights give it a 'luxury' look while the scoop gives it a racy look, which seem to contradict. But then I like the flat, stock hood that hides what's under it. (I worked hard to get my flat hood to shut for that reason).

Very nice work, please share a picture of the engine bay. For me, unless the scoop is blended into the hood and there is an entry into the engine compartment, it looks like a cheap add on. I like the look of the car without the scoop.

Thanks for the input guys. I was leaning towards not using it and it seems like most everyone's backing that up. Heres an engine bay pic

Again, very nice. Engine bay looks real clean. What year is the motor?

That motor looks fantastic in there, really excellent work. How does the car behave with the motor? What adjustments to the shock towers/suspension did you have to make?

thanks guys. Its a 99 dohc out of a cobra. I used Heidts mustang 2 style front suspension. It drives great. Its been a really long project and has a lot of custom pieces. Im really proud of the way the console came out. I have lots of pics if theirs anything you would like to see. Thanks again
