Default Stripping off blue anodize

I got some aluminum engine parts that I got for free that have blue anodize on them and I want to strip it off back to plain aluminum. What is best way to do it? I thought Oven cleaner was good to do that, but it has been awhile.

Bleach takes it off. Don't use oven cleaner. It has a tendency to eat aluminum.

Oven cleaner will work but will leave stain spots on the metal.

Thanks!
I'll start with the wife's bleach first to see what that does, she'll love for this one...
