For links you can just copy it and paste it.

Pictures you put the url in between these bracket sets. [img]url here[/img]

 

a pic will end up looking like the caption but with the ] to close the last part off. If you use something like photobucket, they have a deal that lets you just cut and paste it right in. On photobucket it is called IMG CODE and do this
