Default HELP WANTED PLEASE!!!!!????!?!?

Hi all, just joined up looking for new friends in the wonderful world of mustangs!!!

Haven't got my first mustang yet but I'm currently looking at one in Palatine, IL being sold through ebay. We are in Perth, Western Australia, and I was wondering if there were was anyone out there who could advise of someone that could do an inspection of the vehicle for us. We have purchased from the US before - a Detomaso Pantera late last year - and with the help of the wonderful people from the Pantera forums we were able to complete the transaction with no hassle at all and are now the proud owners of an awesome yellow panther. I am hoping that we can get the same support from you guys to help us get this gorgeous looking black '69 Mach1 (another chilhood dream of mine!!)

Anyway, hope to hear from you soon and may this be the beginning of a beautiful relationship

If you want opinions/searches on California cars (more likely to be rust free), drop me an email.

Talking

Thanks for the offers guys - very much appreciated. Hopefully over the next 6 months or so I will be looking for another couple of cars to bring over so keep your eyes open for any bargains for me....especially in California as that is where my shipping agent runs from (you may regret this GT350R Klone!!)

I managed to arrange an inspection on the Balck Mach1 in Illinois so just waiting to hear how it goes...fingers crossed. If it's as good as it looks then hopefully by next week I will be a legitimate member of the Mustang family not just a love child!!! Then we just have that LOOOOONNNNGGGG wait until the boat arrives and then the fun and games of trying to get it registered....but its worth it right?!?!?!

IL is part of the rust belt you don't want a car from there.Cali and az part of the usa are the best rust free cars to get.Look up craigslist in any cali city you can find some deals if you look good.

I'll check out ones in the Detroit, MI area. I'm armed at all times, so I have no problem visiting the D from time to time.

You really need to tell us what year model you want and what your willing to pay for a car. Being that you are an Australian the parts a bit harder for you to get at a fair price so you want a completed car with little to no work to do on it. Again. Let the forum know what you want and you may be able to talk a member out of a fine ride for a fair price.

Hi again

As I said in my previous message I would really prefer a 1969 model rather than a 1970...there is just that little something different about the earlier model. And I would like a Mach 1. I appreciate what you're saying about the parts etc but we have a shipping crew that we deal with over there and we bring in parts all the time. We needed to bring quite a few bits and pieces over for both our Pantera and our Stingray. Having said that, yes I would prefer not to have to do anything on the car but at the same time it kinda makes it more yours when you have to fiddle it a bit to just the way you like it. As long as the body and paintwork are in excellent condition I'm happy. A few small mechanical issues can be dealt with. I guess we're looking around the $25k - $30k and whatever that can get us.

Thanks
