1967? Special interior?
My wife had a chance to buy a 1967 (she thinks) coupe many years ago when she was in college. Her father talked her out of it.
She thinks it was a 1967 coupe, blue with white racing stripe. She insists it had a blue and white "plaid" interior.
I am looking to find her one that fits the description for a gift. Was there any such thing from the factory or was it a personal mod?

I've never seen plaid int., especially in a '67. Standard or Deluxe int. are the only options I know of for '67. Deluxe isn't 2 tone either, mine is maroon seats, dash, doors and red carpet, etc. so there are 2 similar colors but not 2 tone red/white seat inserts.
There's a good chance that if you find a car it may need the upholstery redone, have it done in plaid inserts or whatever she's describing.

If I recall correctly, the Chevy Camaro had a plaid interior option (at least 1969). Could she be mistaken on the make and model? I suppose anything is possible with a custom upholstery job.
Good luck with your search.
