Default Question

would you trade in your current mustang +cash to a private party to have a finish car, or dump the money on your ride and finish it yourself?

You aren't going to get crap from a dealer for trade in. I had one offer me $4000.

So I say build it, plus I like knowing that I built a car.

I'd still finish it myself

But it really depends if you have the time, money, and skills to do so. If not I could see taking the first option.

half of the fun of it is putting all that time and effort into your baby. i take so much pride in doing all of my upgrades myself that are within my capabilities no matter how long it takes. i love just wasting away a saturday afternoon washing and waxing and detailing every last inch of my car...i just wouldnt have the same bond if i just bought the car
