Default Disc Brakes Needed

Hi my name is Ashton, what is the most affordable way to upgrade my stock drum brakes without brake booster, to disc brakes on my 66 stang? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-1965-19...aff71d&vxp=mtr

This is the link to a set of disc brakes, that fits with my stock 14 inch wheels.
Should i just wait until i get bigger wheels to get disc brakes?

With that kit, there is the option of maual brake or power brake, is power brake if i had the brake booster? cuz if i do not need the break booster i will just get the manual kit.

Ok let me just ask a few questions about that setup to gauge what i need to do.
1. Say i do the manual disc conversion, how much better will my stopping be compared to drum and does it take away the locking up of my front wheels.
2. say i do the manual disc conversion, and down the road change to a 17 inch wheel and tire package will that still work even with bigger rims?
3.How happy are people using manual disc brakes vs power disc brakes that cost double the price.

I just ordered the CSRP manual disc brake kit, because my stock drums have never, ever been right, despite every single component being replaced, repeatedly, by folks who know what they are doing.

My drums had a random and dangerous tendency to radically grab either right or left, and frankly, I want to survive my Mustang driving experience.

I don't know about bigger wheels. It's a 5 bolt, 4.5 inch pattern, so you just need to look up the wheel's compatibility before you order them.

Those should fit, for instance, provided the tires would clear the sheet metal and wheel tub.

I did the CSRP kit and it is a great kit (discbrakeswap) it included everything I needed and it did make a big difference over my stock manual drums. If a cars drum brakes are set up perfectly, the actual stopping performance comparing drum to disc is not hugely different on the first stop, it's the performance on the second and third stops and during wet stopping etc.. Also the disc brakes require no adjustment and have no auto adjusters to fail loke in a drum system. The disc brakes give much better feedback to the driver especially on a manual setup. My car does not have the booster, and would not have it any other way. I suppose if it were a big car with a big block I would like a booster but in a 289 car it feels very performance oriented and fwiw my wife has no issues with manual brakes.
