Here's a pic showing mine. It has some turquoise and white tissue in it that I put in there for shows.

I have a ton of people ask me "Is that original?"

Good question. My husband installed it for me. As I remember, it was an easy install with a piece that bolts up under the dash and the tissue holder swings out from there. My Mustang is still in the shop so I can't go look at it, but I can check with my husband later and see how he installed it.

Okay, sorry it took me so long to get back. I thought that my husband installed it, but the hot rod shop guys did. I was up there today looking at my car and so I looked at it. There's a plate on the left side that bolts on under the glove box with 2 bolts. The tissue box fastens to that and slides out. It looks like a pretty easy install. I'm not even sure you have to drill holes for the bolts. It may be using holes that are already there. The plate to install it comes with the box. Good luck!

It was not stock to my car. It was an original Ford part available in 66, but I'm not sure if it was a factory option or a dealer accessory. I suspect it was a dealer add on.

I don't think I have one of it flush and since the car is in the shop right now to be painted, I can't get another pic at this time. If I find on, I will post it though.

I put tissue paper in it that matches the interior for shows. It is an eye catcher.
