Ok guys, I have a thinker...... I was trying to figure the logic behind this. IF a 289 Hipo had 271 HP, with just a bigger cam, and heads, why cant we push our 289's past 300? With all the new aftermarket cams, intakes, carbs, and heads, i believe we can do it easily, but yet, some people dont think so. THen What if we bore them out? even more power..... Then add a super....... So With all the mods, i listed, and others if i left them out, What do you think the HP ratings would be?

 

270 is at the flywheel. Carrol shelby got 306 or 307. I can't remember. Most of our horse power stuff is at the wheel. Big difference!
