the calipers were off a lincoln versaille and the old hoses and calipers were 24 TPI... Both rebuilt calipers from autozone are 27 TPI and the hoses are 24 TPI.... meaning it just wont work... now I'm lookin at my options
First of all, take it back and go to O'reillys. Auto Zone SUCKS when it comes to any kind of brakes on older Fords. I Ordered Rear drums for a '71 model Stang and they came in and were 4 lug. Auto zone sucks. Period!!! Oreilly wll set you up and they have a low price garuntee.
i'm thinking about just buying some banjo lines and the NPT bolt and doing that... infact since it'll come out as a 90, I won't even have to rerun the lines for the swap
i had my lines made for me. i dont like the way they show the hard line extentions. if you want hoses that mount in the stock position they need to be 17 in. long and they will put any fitting on that you want. i tried the bango bolt way but couldn't find one that would fit.
most industrial hose shop will be able to make them. i went with stainless and they cost me about 75.00 for both sides. rubber was half that.
