Default What is a Ditzler #?

I've been seaching for some touch-up paint for my '65 Coupe and I found something called the Ditzler number for it. Is that something I can take to an automotive paint store and have them match?

BTW, my warranty plate says my ext. paint code is F (Arcadian Blue) but in all my searches it comes up as a '66 or later color. What gives? My build date is July 6, 1965.

This car has been extremely well-cared for and garaged its whole life so I don't know how much the original paint has faded, if any. What are the odds any touch-up paint will match?

Thanks,
Rich

If that blue is the original paint, chances are you will have a hard time getting touch up paint to match exactly, but if anybody can do it, these guys can. I am very pleased with the match they made for me.
