69' suspension
coil over setups are apparently the best....
i dont really know why....but thats what i hear. they have kits on most mustang sites, but they arent cheap....usually between 1-2 thousand dollars.

for a more budget but performance minded suspension deal get the 620 1" drop coil springs, polyurethane bushings, and a good performace shock like the KYB Gas-A-Just. For the rear get maybe a 5 leaf setup to be a little stiffer and not so "wet noodle"........get some sway bars that match too.....
u could upgrade to some "progressive" coil springs or whatever but i dont know how much better those are...

Not true! Air bags are good for whatever you set them to do. I've seen multiple comparisons between and air ride set up, and a regular performance set up, and they both perform about the same. An air ride set up will be a little heavier, and they aren't cheap, but you can adjust them for just about anything. You can have a smooth plush ride on the way out the the track, and a fat-guy-in-a-little-coat tight set up when you get there.
Coil overs are good because they are very consistant, and adjustable.
Check out Summit Racing and JEGs. Also, just type in "69 Mustang performance suspension" into Google and see what come up.
