my 67 restomod has all new EVERYTHING but my question is about bump steer. I have put a new flaming river power steering set up in my ride and have had it aligned but it still has a case of bump steer,is it just a question of tweeking till its "acceptable" or is there something i am missing.

You want the tierod ends to be level with the spindle arm at rest. They should swing through the same arc as the wheel goes up or down. I assume you have the rack setup on it, you might have to use spacers to move the rack into the same place as the steering arm. If you have the car lowered considerably then you would have to raise the rack. The factory minimized this on old cars by making the tie rod ends as long as possible which changed the geometry of the arc.
