Default 67-68 Fastback

Hey guys i was wondering if any of you have a 67-68 Fastback, if so how much did you pay for it, did you restore it , if so how much did it cost?, what are your epxeriences with the car? My dream car since i was like 10 years old is the 68 Fastback GTA with the 390. I was thinking about possibly selling my 02' GT and look for a 67-68 fastback. I mean i have the 69 R Code Mach 1 that needs to be restored and that isnt going to be cheap and is going to take plenty of time (time that i dont really have) from what i hear (im only 20 and in college) But there is something about that fastback. So idk i guess i am asking for your guys opinions if i should sell the 02' GT ( have an 01 F-150 as a DD) and look for a 67-68 Fastback? If so should i get a fix-er-up-er, or look for one thats already up and running. I have seen them in the auto trader for as little as 15k, but i doubt i would get my 390 for that. I want to get one now before they get anymore expensive than they already are. Any input is welcome guys

I doubt you can get 15K for your 02 GT. Then, the problem will be finding a 68 that is in decent condition for around that figure. But, one never knows. Keep looking, and good luck with it.

If you find one, you better snap it up! They are not getting any cheaper and are getting harder to find.

I'm 20 and in college too. I mowed yards to fix mine up. I didn't have to buy the car, as it has been in the family for about 30 years. I have about 8-9K in though. They are getting hard to find and aren't cheap so that would be your only problem.
