[:@] Just wanted to tell everybody to be extra safe while driving. I rear-ended a lady that slammed on her brakes in front of me and totaled my Mustang and Messed up my face. That steering wheel hurts. Words of advise If you havent upgraded your brakes or seat belts do it before you drive again. Heres some pics of the car now.

Are you OK now? I mean physically. I can see that your Stang is damaged, but how are you? Are you going to total the car and send it to the junk yard?

 

Hate to see a vintage Mustang ruined like that... but at least you are okay. A few weeks ago a guy pulled out in front of me at an intersection and nearly made my '65 look like yours (or worse). I feel like a target everytime I go out on the road, and I live in a rural area. Again, sorry for your misfortune.

 

OUCH!!! Hope you had no significant facial damage from that collision like your stang got. Really messed up a good looking vehicle...sorry about your loss...

I saw all that flat dry land your stang was parked on and noticed you live in the Lubbock area. I went to Tech for awhile but got tired of the tornados and red sand storms so moved out to east Texas area. However, that dry climate must be great for these vintage mobiles.
Good Luck with whatever you decide to do with the wreckage of your stang...

 

Im ok now. Im Gonna buy back the car after they total it and use it for a parts car or sell off the parts. The interior was perfect and alot of things are salvagable. Thanks for the concern.

 

wow ...good to hear you are okay...that has to suck! How much work did you put into that car? Did you get hurt bad?Is there another mustang in your future?

 

I had only had it for two weeks. It was perfect. I had big plans for it. But God has a differnt plan for me. I have seven stiches in my lip and a swolen face. Thats all luckly. I'll sell off the parts and buy one further down the road. So if anyone needs anything like nice leather pony seats (emberglow and parchment) or 1966 wheels, ECT. Email me.

I'm sure we all feel for you. The most important part is that you are OK. Stitches will heal in time, and before you know it, you'll find another 'stang and be up and running again! Best of luck to you.

 

I remember hearing somewhere that 1966 was the last year that didn't have a collapsabe sterring wheel.
