i can turn my steering wheel with one finger, in my 65 fastback, its a complete car minus the int. it was a power steering car that i converted, just took off the power ram and added the manual draglink tie rods etc. but im bigger than most guys on the forum!

My 66 is non-power and it is a pain at times. Come the fall, the front end will have about 75 lbs less on it then it does now. That should help the steering a bit.... I'm installing alum heads and headers in the fall, weee haaa..

what is rack and pinion manual steering like?

is it just like regular manual steering but with no play?
R&P is a dream compared to stock. There is no play at all. Manual R&P is power by armstrong also.
