Finished sanding this weekend
Hi all!
Because I had 2 coats of paint on my car I decided to take off the old paint before I applied the fresh paint. It took me 12hs with a grinder and about 50 sheets of 80 grit paper. It went faster than I thought it would. I will keep you posted on the progress.

Hi all,
Here is a pic of my progress. I used a Makita sander/grinder with a soft disc for the sand paper. It did fine and did not leave any deep scratches. I have some paint samples coming from Aircraft Finishing Systems. They assured me that I cannot blow myself up with their water borne paint even using an open flame for heat. [sm=burnout.gif]
