ok, as some of you know, i have been looking for a 1969 mustang for god knows how long. i found a coupe a while back, but the deal dodnt go through. so back to looking i went. i have been looking at this one for a few days now, and the seller dropped the Buy it Now.

its a true mach 1 with the factory 351-4v cleveland in it. i have enough in current funds to buy and get it shipped down here to me and i would have somewhere between $800 - $1000 left. how much is sand/media blasting? i hav a steady income and about a year to get it running. what do you guys think about it?

 

I think I would pass. When you start tearing one down it always gets worse. The one I bought looked solid, but I am still replacing sheet metal. Those photos show a lot of damage.

 

yea, i wouldnt have considered it but it is a real mach 1 and has the original cleveland in it.

 

That's a rust bucket. It will take at least 10K to get it back on the road. I'd pass

the floor pans look like they need to be replaced and thats a lot of rust. no worth it man
