They were on the 289 when I bought the car. The previous owner had no clue (in fact he thought the engine was a 302) and said they were on there when he bought the car. There are absolutely NO markings on the inside, no numbers, letters or stamps. They are aluminum with chrome plating. The guy who rebuilt the engine said he thought they were 20 - 30 years old and maybe old cobra covers.

Anyway, I am curious if anyone out there can identify them.

 

Hmmm, they remind me of old vette covers.

 

I think they are probably old Cal-Custom covers or a knock off variation of same. JMHO, Dean
