Oil pressure sending unit is differnet. Not sure about the amp gauge but it must be different. The easy way would be to get the wiring out of a 66.

Is there a write up on what needs to get changed? I have a 66 cluster in my 64 1/2 and the fuel, and speedo are the only things that work. I bypassed the sensors (went right to ground) and the other gauges are working, they just dont read whatever signal they should be getting from the temp. and oil pres. sensors???

i have those gauges in my 65 but in black. They came with the car and i replaced them with some rep ones. The ones i took off were OEM Ford parts yet my car never came with pony interior. maybe the PO put them on?? The speed gauge works and so does the oil but the others dont.

Adrian...I have a 67 coupe and replaced the instrument voltage regulator with solid state. However, Does the 65-66 have an instrument voltage regulator on the back like the 67's. If so, the one in the pic might be missing it. Or I just have old eyes which can't seem to find it...

You are right it should have a voltage regulator on it, and it does not. You can actually see that the metal is a lighter grey in the area where it is supposed to be just to the right of the large speedo circle.

The new regulator is 37.95 from Mustangs Plus, and its easy to replace.
