got a 65 mustang and got a flat tire. i have a spare rim but no lug wrench to get the old rim off. anyone know what size the lug nut is?? thanks

 

just go buy one of those + looking lug wrenches.....it has the right size on there....im not sure the exactly size though....

 

cal-mustang sells one for 25. should i purchase that or is it a little bit too much for a lug wrench?

 

umm....well i bought mine at the auto parts store for like 11 dollars.

you might want to invest in a set of tools too if you doint have a socket/breaker bar for a simple task like changing a tire

 

u might also want to look for a piece of pipe to use as leverage on the lug nut wrench because a lot of times they are rusted on or put on with a impact wrench which makes them next to impossible to get off with a standard lug wrench type deal....

 

If you are using a socket with a breaker bar, or an impact wrench, then the socket size is 13/16 "
