Default Rear Lowering Blocks

Where do people get there rear lowering blocks from? Mustangs Unlimited is right down the street from me, but their kits are like 65 bucks, and I remember doing my sonoma for like 20 bucks with blocks and u-bolts. seems a little pricey

Local Autozone/Checker/Kragen etc might have them cheaper. I have noticed that stuff like that is way more expensive than it used to be. I guess I am getting old.[:@]

Not trying to talk you out of it, but I wouldn't put lowering blocks on it. Instead, I would replace the leaf springs with Mid-Eye leaves to give you an 1" drop. You achieve the drop and still maintain handling qualities.

yeah lowering blocks arent the safest and they affect ur pinion angle unless they are made for a certain app and slash cut to mainmtain it! they must be constantly checked to see if they are loose cause the longer a bolt is the eaiser it stretches

Lowering blocks will work fine. They go between the spring and the rear end housing so they esentially raise the rear end. This will lessen the angle of the drive shaft going into the rear end. That will not hurt anything it is only when you increase the drive shaft angle that you run into trouble.
