i'm attempting to install my new deck lid, but i can't figure out how to put the trunk springs back in. can someone take a picture of their setup for me?

Never seen any go bad. It's all in how you install them. They are adjustabe for tension

i wouldn't think they can go bad either. i believe i have both sides adjusted to the maximum tension. here's some pics.

Play with it some. Do you notice how my left one is on the rear notch, and the right one is on the front notch? Also, notice how they are criss-crossed in the middle. That is what creates the tension.
