He does provide his e-mail and the vin of the car though. That's unlikely for a scam. These types of scams are usually found on eBay, not Cardomain. I'm going to e-mail him and if he returns the e-mail then hopefully I'll be able to find someone in the Regional section who would be able to go take a look.

hey guys, i just bought a 67 fastback, the car was in good condition but no where near as good as that car, and it cost me 16k. i have every suspicion that the sale is a scam or some retarded women selling a car cause she's divorcing her husband. the vin states its a 390ci. that would jack the price up even more. mine was only a code- C which is the smallest, least powerful engine offered. considering that, this is either the deal of a life time, or a scam...

thats just my input,

Chris

It sounds like a scam....my friend found about the same deal on ebay 2 months ago, the car was in England, they assured cheap shipping ($200....HAHA), and wanted the cash up front. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS!!!

OF course he has an email. What does he expect for someone to just magically contact him? These guys are smart. They know how to "make" a VIN.

Actually ebay catches the scams now. Most scams are from websites like yahoo, autotrader etc.

Guys, this same car is also listed on Car Soup and came up last week on my standing search request for Mustangs at that site. My first thought was that the price was a typo...that it needed at least a 1, maybe a 2, in front of those first four digits. I don't understand the reference to LH drive, either. Whover is checking, keep us updated.

has anyone looked at all the cars this guy is selling? heres the list and prices and some other comments

---Shaq's 2003 Navigator- $11,000 Shaq was only previous owner supposedly

----2001 Celica w/ lambo doors, 5k- Ugly rice if you asked me...

----2002 BMW X5- $9,000, 25k miles.... last time i saw a bimer go for that price was when my father practically gave our '98 328i away to our neighbor two years ago. and that had 50k miles on it.

----97 lotus esprit- $6,800.... msrp on that car brand new is 80k.

----2003 hummer- $12,000- only 11k miles and its beefed up, i don't liek the h2 but is worth more than that.

and finally....

'93 RX-7 - $6,400- 11k miles. Stage II turbo upgrade, 500 rwhp.... nothing else needs to be said.....

this guy is nuts or trying to scam as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time by spamming all these worked up cars. Or he's actually giving people the deal of a lifetime.....

That's just my two cents....

Chris
