Ok Guys. YOu know i like loud cars. MY mustangs exhaust hasn't been finished for some time, and it was really loud, and i loved it. Now, i just had it finished, and had GT exhaust installed. IT IS SOOOO QUIET. I CANT STAND IT!!! i got flowmasters and everything. HE did bend the pipes himself, and there weren't bent to good. The only plus is, it seems to be burning the tires off the rims. I feel more power in it. Just improved torque from more back pressure though.

Get a really quiet exaust and drive it around for a while, then put ur flows back

even better, just ride a bicycle with a baseball card in the spokes

I like loud exhast too. However the better back pressure must be fun. So I guess its a tradeoff.

and to think i thought i was going to see pics of a recked stang or maybe even one that got key'd up real good. you're car is ruined cause it don't make noise anymore? damn son, your life must really suck. the way i see it you now have a sleeper.

Well it is to me. I mean it' still loud outside, but it sucks on the inside. Im getting used to it. I have a bad exhaust leak at the donut gasket, and it makes it sound like crap.

You can get some of those exhaust dumps put in also. Pull a lever or push a button and it dumps the exhaust out right next to the headers, no muffling at all. Nice for weekend track runs.

Yeah, we called those cut-outs back in the day. Just yank on a cable that opened the exhaust just after the header and closed off the exhaust to the mufflers.
