Default valve cover torque value

I'm replacing my valve cover bolts and gaskets. The manual doesn't appear to specify a bolt pattern to tighten? Also, the only torque value I could find in the manual was for "valve rocker arm cover" 3-5. Is this the same as valve covers?

Thanks

Yes, but the real value is somewhere between; not enough to seal and so much that you ruin the cover.

Yep, that's one and the same. Sometimes it is referred to as the rocker cover. I would gently snug each bolt, then working from the center, tighten each about a half turn until you finally reach the torque. It ain't much though. If you squeeze the gaskets too much they will leak over time.
