Not much clearance between fuel filter and new sway bar.

Ouch - that's tight! [:@]

I think your thinking is correct - between the vibrations of the motor, and the travel of the sway bar with the suspension, you may indeed run into some MAJOR problems. Just piece of mind would sure would be worth the cost of one of those filter/pump relocation kits, or maybe even an electrical pump.

How does the filter/pump relocation work? And do you know where I could get one?

Now that I think about it some more, I think the relocation kit is only for an oil filter. You may need to just switch to an all-out electrical fuel pump and close off that fuel pump area on the block. So why is there so little clearance - haven't really seen this prob before...?

I think you might get away with using a 66 style pump, it dosent have the hanging filter on it.

The filter can is larger than the one I replaced. I wonder if they sold me the wrong one.

Where is the filter on the '66 style?
