Default Emblem Adhesive

My older brother (yeah older) put a University of Texas Longhorn emblem on his bowtie Camaro, but the adhehive strip did not cover the entire emblem, so the whole thing is not attached. I ventured to guess it will rip off the first time he washes it in a commercial car wash. Yeah, he is lazy. Anyhoo, I suggested he get a real emblem made out of chrome instead of plastic, and use 3M Plastic and Emblem Adhehive. He actually followed my advice and now has a great looking Longhorn adorned on the rear of his bowtie. Oh, and he was going to use a screwdriver to get the old one off. Bad idea I told him. Use a heat gun instead. Well, I almost flipped when he actually followed my advice. Go figure....I still love him.

He really doesn't know much about cars, he just wanted a fast sports car. No, his bowtie won't stay up with my Mach1, but it is a fast car. I drove it last weekend, and punched it on the freeway. It is a strong runner. However, there are other things wrong with it. It makes a lot of strange grinding sounds that I think are bearing related in the rear, but he took it to the bowtie place, and they said there was nothing wrong with it. Also, the floor in the passenger side has a hump in it, so it is really uncomfortable. So, the engine is strong, but the rest of the car is crap compared to my Mach1, or my nephew's 02 GT.

Did you hear about the Aggie terrorist who tried to blow up the Longhorn team bus.
He burned his lip on the tailpipe.

Yeah, that is a rivalry that goes way back. My middle brother and I are T-Sip graduates, and our older brother graduated from farmer land. I was in the Longhorn band back in the early 60's when we were national champions, and we played Navy in the cottonbowl. Roger Staubach was the QB for Navy, and we beat the stuffing out of them. This year, the Longhorns again prevailed as the national champions, but the Aggies gave them their usual hard time to get passed them. Great rivalry.

That's the year I got married. Your dad is young enough to be my son, and you my grandson.
