I remember reading somewhere that a gas tank from a newer Mustang would drop right into a '67 and that it had a bigger capacity. (20 gallon?) I can't remember for sure which year would fir. Does anyone know? Thanks for your help.

 

The 70 had a 22 gallon, and i believe that the 69 had a 20 gallon tank. THose should drop right in, if you can find one. Alot of guys like me with 69-70s with the bigger harder to find tanks have swapped them for the 16 gallon from the earlier years.

 

I was just wondering, why would you switch from a bigger tank to a smaller one, do you drag race your Stang or something? That's all.
