A VERY interesting read Tim. I didn't realize that Jay Leno was such an old car enthusiast. I have never seen a Dusenberg. Can you imagine the nightmare of trying to find parts for it?

Yeah but you still have to give him credit. It would be very easy for him to create a car collection of ferraris and porsches but he has shown that he has taste. He owns enough cars that he never has to drive the same car 2 days in ONE YEAR and also owns his own shop with a number of workers. Regardless of his cash though he isnt afraid to get his hands dirty. Jay Leno could easily hold his own on this web site with the extensive knowledge that he has. I'll bet that him and soaring would be pretty good friends . He knows more than I do and I have a lot of respect for him. Just my $0.02 though

They say he doesn't spend his Tonight show Millions, lives off of his comedy shows. The Salary goes to charity. I think 14 Mil a year.

Uh, yeah right. He is doing a balancing act to keep from paying taxes. Charity donations is a very convenient way for the very wealthy to do that. I wouldn't think he is missing too many opportunities to buy vintage cars just because he doesn't have enough money to pay for them. I don't even watch the Tonight show anymore. I don' think he is all that funny. [:'(] Johnny was my favorite with Doc Severinsen as the trumpet playing music section. Yeah, I'm old and dated.

Yep, I guess I would have to agree with that, but, you left out the part about falling asleep before the show comes on...

Hehe... and when someone comes to shut it off he hollars, "Hey! I was watching that!" as he almost falls out of the recliner.
