This is a stupid question... but how do I take off window/door handles?
like most cars they probably use clips.
Get a door clip removal tool if you don't want to damage them and then pop the retainers off the door panel.

Yeah, from the inside panels. You have clips that hold it on. Here, take a read.

Now, since you didn't mention which door handles, we are all assuming the inside handles. Is that right?

if it is the outside handles, there is a small nut at the front of the handle INSIDE the door, a screw that can be reached with the door open, and a clip for the door rod
Not a stupid question. Here is a how to for the exterior handles.

Step A - Take the screws out...
Step B - Pry the Panel Off...
I get stuck at Step A as mine don't have screws... hehe
They may be talking about screws that hold the panel on. We don't have those on our classics. You need to use a flat blade of some kind to gently nudge the clips of the panel off from the outer part of the inside of the door, then take the arm rests off, then proceed to the inner door handle and window crank. The arm rests are held on by two screws accessible from underneath the arm rest.
