Default 67 Solid State Ignition

I'm looking to replace the ignition in my 67 convertible.
It has the original 289 in it. I've been looking at the PerTronix Ignitor. Is there any advantage to going with the Ignitor II over the Ignitor?
I've been reading and haven't yet seen any major advantages.

Also, any suggestions on a supplier? I've seen a number of sites that sell these, but they all look to be about the same price.

And thanks to the guys that responded regarding replacing my floorboard. I ended up just patching the damage until I can afford to get it done right.

I just finished putting in pertronixs in a 67 289. I don't know anything about the pertronixs II.

Here is a good article that I got from Soaring about installing pertronixs

Here is where I got my pertronixs

I think that the pertronix II will adjust the dwell angle throughout the RPM range.
