This is my first post and I would like to just say "hi". I'm resto-moding a 1966 Convertible, not to extream. Want it to look orginal but have some of the latest safety items.

First question: I want to replace the front drum brakes with disc...what is the best setup?? not the most expensive, but a good unit.

Thanks

KY66

Hey, and welcome to the classic section of the MF. There are several ways you can go to put disk brakes on the front of your 66. First, check on top in the FAQ section for different swaps and vendors for the swap, and if you have further questions, get back to us.

Yeah, Dennis is a good egg. Some of our members can attest to the quality of his parts.

14" five lug, 289 car.

Have located a set of 66GT rotors, spendles, and calipers. Will not have to change wheels or tires. Good for me
