Since I have been the Mod on the classic section of the MF for awhile, I have noticed that many good contributing members come and go. Is there something we can do to keep members coming back for more than a few months? Is there something the MF mods and admin types can do to keep these quality members from going away? Are there any complaints about the site in how it is administered, and are there any complaints in how I am modding the classic section?

I think your doing great! This is one of the best forums I have been on. Other forum (not necessarily mustang forums), if someone asks a question that is in the faq or just asks something that seems dumb, everyone, including mods will make them feel really stupid and tell them to look in FAQ's or something.

Since I have been monitoring this site I think you have been one of the "good" contributors and are doing a great job as moderator. Sorry I can't offer any better suggestions other than keep up the good work, but, it is the assistance that you and others offer that makes this site what it is.

Thanks,

Not me, but I imagine some guys that have been on here awhile feel like the same things get rehashed over and over and not much new ground is broken... some of it's just human nature- the newness wears off. Turnover here isn't near as bad as some forums I've participated in though.

Glen, the forums are doing fine and you know just about everyone around here helps wonderfully. People just come and go. I would say we have a good base of members such as you, 6mustang6, thumpin, slickman, dodgestang, scotth, etc Sorry if i didnt name you. you should know if you contribute alot. Glen if you want to keep me just send me a money order each month. I am not going anywhere. I rarely ask any questions at other forums because i trust this forum.

I've only been on a couple of weeks, but I have nothing but praise for this forum, and especially this classics area.

And also how often do the members get into "fights" or "flame wars" NEVER.

Lol, Yeah GLen, I have been here for A LONG TIME. lol. Yeah, we do have a good base of people that stay around here. I say about 10-15 people at least. Tyler is right. I ask questions that dont even involve mustangs on here, like with my chevys and stuff. I'd rather ask people here, then anywhere else.
