I'm attempting to repaint the chrome steel style wheels I have.Does anyone know what exactly colour the grey should be ?
And does anyone have any advice on how to best adhere the paint to the chrome ?
I have a feeling they have been done once already.The paint that is peeling off doesn't look to me to be the right grey.

The mustang sites should have that. I believe it is argent.

Try Ford down there they may have something. Might be cheaper than shipping. That argent color was used on a lot of things, even on the newer cars.

Yes,I have a feeling our Falcon GTs may have used that Argent colour.Just a matter of getting the correct shade for the 1966...dark argent.

Funny thing Ron, I'm working with the Aussies now on the HMAS Wason in Sydney doing war games. We do war games via networks so I'm in San Diego with the US Navy. I love the Austrailian outlook on life. You seem to have much less worries than we do. Take care, John
