Default I found an A code 65

On the way to Ace hardware here in my little central Texas town of Wimberley, I spotted a white 65 coupe for sale. I popped the hood, and the VIN says it is an A code. It has the 4100 carb on it, and it has the top loader in it. The front brakes are disk with a big single MC jelly jar. The only rust I could find on it was the bottom of the passenger door. Very typical. The interior is clean with a new dash pad, etc. It is an original. The man is asking $8,500 for it. The down side is that it has a white vinyl top, but no signs of rust under it. Anyway, if any of you are interested in it, I will talk to the guy and take some pics for you.

I thought the same thing. However, it is almost cherry original condition. If it were in California, I guess that would be a decent asking price, but here in Texas, that is just too much.

yes it it. I told y'all about the mustang being sold around here. It was nice, All fixed up, a couple of engine mods, etc. He wanted 11,500 for a 66 289 coupe. I wanted to go knock on his door and laugh at him.

I guess it is what the market bears, but around here in central Texas around 6-7 grand for an almost cherry 65 A code coupe would be a decent and fair price. I think I will call the guy tomorrow, and see what gives.

Believe me, this car is a lot better shape than yours. It is almost a cherry 65 coupe A code.

This guy was selling his 66 fastback for 34k at the car show. It used to be a six cylinder too!
