Default MSD Ignition System?

Okay, I just bought a '67 Stang over this weekend, it has a 289 4v, factory in dash a/c, C-4 automatic. The previous owner put on an aluminium 4 barrel intake, with a Holley topping. He also converted the original points and condenser to a MSD Electronic Ignition System. Which I know Nothing about, not at all.

One of many question about the MSD System is does the vacuum advance on the distributor or does it not need it.

Second question, is there some place that I can get literature on the system itself.

Thanks,
Tony

Thanks,
