Default 240ci I6

I have a 66 ford F250 truck with a 240 straight 6. My mustang came stock with a 200ci 6 and a 3 speed.

me question is, are the mounting points on the 2 engines the same? I don't have a 200ci to go into the mustang, and the trucks motor is great, in a bad body, so I'd like to put the 240ci into the stang.

also, will the 3 speed tranny bolt up to the engine? I have the automatic from the truck, but a standard is more fun to play with.

The motor mounts would be o.k., however the deck height of the block is slightly higher than the 200 and may not fit under the 'Stang hood. Your best bet is to go to www.fordsix.com They will be able to better answer your question. Keep posting here, though to keep us informed.
