TireShake,

I have a copy of the 11/4 auction, because I am the James Kramer of Boring, OR listed in the creditors. If you still need a copy, email me at jkramer@legacy-wireless.com.

Also, it appears that you are well plugged into the situation. I have lost all hope of getting my money back. I was able to go get my car (shell) before the bankrupty happened and I have started working on the car just assuming I lost the $25k deposit I put down. If possible, please email me whenever you have any updates.

Thanks,

James

If anybody goes to the auction today, please write up a summary of what they observed and experienced.

Thanks,

James

From what I have been told, the auction had about 150 persons at it and they sold a lot of cars, 1 trailer, and parts. I'm hearing it will be around $75k. $75k split between all the creditors only gives us around $2k to $3k each, but I guess it is something.

I learned something else. Federal and state bankruptcy laws allow the person filing bankruptcy to protect up to $5,000 of the assets, so Scott will be getting $5,000 from the auction.

Gotta love how the system protects the guilty...

I came across this a few days ago. This car was built by Pearson Mustang.

http://www.cars-on-line.com/26572.html

and now it's on ebay...

I'm surprised the seller admits the car was built by Eleanormustangs.com (aka "Pearson Mustang"). That website hasn't been up for at least 6 months. He must not know the background of what happened with Scott Pearson.

sfeleanor,

I'm really sorry your out all that money! Like I said earlier, stay on top of it and try to get this gu some jail time. If you're still wanting an eleanor, go to unique performance. They're pricey but their product speaks for itself.
I'm sorry but I ran across this post doing a search, and I had to grin. Time sure changes things doesn't it.

I think they both got in over their heads and couldn't keep up with demand.
I've seen it too many times before.

I know this topic is a little outdated but i came across this while i was doing research on pearson mustang simply because i had heard about the bankruptcy issue.

here's my story, I was 15 years old, at the time and i had been given the opportunity to do something i had a passion for. I actually worked for Pearson Mustang for about 3 months. I was paid $5.50 an hour, cash, under the table.(simply because me working for him violates many, many child labor laws). on the pearson mustang web sight, correct me if im wrong, but i recall them saying that each car was hand picked, pretty much leading you to believe that they started with clean cars. well they didnt. my job there was stripping down the cars they bought. the cars they build with were horrible. all the cars were rusty beyond belief, and it amazed me that the would start projects with these cars.

I am carious to what the outcome has been for the people who had done business with pearson and ended up getting screwed?

that was quite an interesting read.

anyone have any kind of update on this, did he go to jail, was he brutally tortured / murdered in one of his unfinished mustangs?
