Mufflers
I finally have my 65 on the road again. The rebuilt 289 is AMAZING. However, I would like to refine her sound a bit. Currently has long headers, dual exhaust & Flowmasters. It's not that it doesn't sound mean, it's just a bit too loud for a daily driver (my opinion).
I am wondering what good alternatives there are for mufflers that will give a bit quieter, perhaps deeper sound. Also don't want to have to sacrifice a bunch of HP.

Finally, someone who doesn't like the sound of flows.
If you want a mean, but tame sound, consider the Ravins. Here is a soundclip site you may want to peruse. http://exhaustsoundclips.com/phpbb2/portal.php

crap. After i had my exhaust system finished out with 40 flows..... it's TOO quiet. Also, the tail pipes coming out of the mufflers are bent too much, the guy didn't know how to bend pipes, i know that. Keep the flows

What series flows do you have? If you have 40s then try 50's they are ALOT quieter
