Default steering wheel removal

so today i got the steering column from the parts car out and know i cant get the steering wheel off. dang thing is stuck on there pretty well, and YES i did take off the retaining nut. It probably would have been easier to get it off while the column was in the car, but its just too creepy in there...the attack squirrels might get me, lol, too late for that now though. I sprayed some WD-40 on the end of the shaft and gave it a few wacks with a hammer but it still isnt off. Any ideas?

You're going to need a wheel puller! I bought mine for $8.00
