I'm ordering a new (non-stock style) shifter **** for an original toploader 4 spd shifter, and want to make sure I order the correct thread size. Anyone know? Thanks!

 

Is there more than one size shifter **** for any Ford tranny shifter? Tell us what the company you are ordering from is telling you about different sizes.

Actually, after reading the add more carefully, it looks like the send a kit for either standard or metric w/ various adapters. Guess I don't really need to know at this point.

 

What do you think Soaring - you have a toploader, right? ? Do you dig that ****? (Keep in mind I have all black interior).

 

Yeah, I was going to say that various aftermarket shifter **** companies include adapters with their *****. Glad you got it figured out.
I really dig that ****. That will be a good contrast to your black interior.
