I had a Mustang shop offer me $2200.00 for the running gear on my car....I mean the HiPo 289, the 4 speed tranny and the original 9 inch rear end.....Do you all think it is worth more than that?

if its a hipo, it shouldnt be removed from the car....original running gear and original car, not seperated, is almost priceless. (for hipo's that is)

Well guys...I don't know...I just need the money for the typical rust repair....I really want a restomod more than something Original you would say...I really should sale the thing and get a cheap C code car or something....

$2200.00 that sounds about right i guess. I mean if your going to get rid of the stuff anyway. But what would you put in place of the 9inch?

Then why not sell your k car on Ebay and use the profits to buy what you want?

I thought 9in rears were worth 2k by them selves? 2200 seems low for everything especially with a 9in rear and a Hipo engine...

Yeah, sell the car and buy something you won't car to mess up. A true K code numbers matching car is too valuable to separate like that.
