170ci's?
Why would you want 1?
The I6 170 only produced 101HP.
Ford thought more HP would sell better.
The 120 HP, 200 cid 6 cylinder engine replaced the 170 cid 6 cylinder.
You could find them at Ford Car shows, look in Falcons and comets.

thats like "oh i think i will trade in my new S500 mercedes for that ford taurus...."

Ford used the L6 2.8L 170 CID engine in various Ford vehicles from 1960 through 1977. The original ponies had the 170, but it was replaced with the 200 after August of 1964. So, they are not a rare engine.
my 66 has the 200ci w/3 speed man on floor. How rare is that, and to still have matching numbers. Most owners swaped out a 8 for the 6. Wont be a track winner but the #'s match. I did some research to add a tri carb set up was $1200 but a bit steep for me! So it stays stock, all 6 cyl's and the ford blue air cleaner too.
