I was referring to Ponyboy's situation, and not Shifty's sister's cat. I have a cat and a dog. The cat stays in the house, and so does the dog until he needs to take care of business. Then he is on a long leash in the back yard. That's called pet ownership responsible behavior. If those several cats are allowed to roam the neighborhood, then the owner is irresponsible. If one of my pets got out into the road and got run over, I certainly would not blame the person whose car hit them. I would blame me. If my pet drank anti-freeze in my neighbor's yard, I certainly would not blame the neighbor, I would blame me for letting my pet to wander inton his yard unattended. Yeah, I know I am old, and my values may be different from today's younguns.

 

yeah, its only my sisters cat when its convenient....its not her cat when it drops a deuce on my hood........

 

yeah, true. we had an outside cat, but he wouldn't bother anyone. the neighbor hood all knew the cat and he did his buisness gentlemanly. the coolest think he ever did was make a bird explode (he was about 35lbs solid, before he started slacking off).

 

yeah i ahve to admit, the other cat is quite a savage....it is know for killing crows and bringing mice back from the fields on a daily basis....u jsut dont pet that cat and everything is good....if u touch it, it will essentually turn you into crudely sliced meat......

 

I used to have a Siamese house cat like that. The operative words here are used to have.

 

i love egyptian mews and ragdolls. best cats ever.

 

both my cat and dog are pretty viscious (the cat mostly). they used to bring a bunch of dead/halfdead animals around our house but they have both gotten older and have calmed down alot. the worst was when they chased a full grown rabbit around the house (disgusting) until we caught the three of them.

we are like you soaring, the dog is either on the leash or in the house, and the cat doesn't bother anyone or anything (other than smaller animals[:'(]) when outside. i hate when people let their pets, dogs especially, do whatever the hell they want.
