ive let the car run in my driveway at 1500 rpm for about 15 minutes and it finally went away but it seems like there is water coming out the exhaust. if the car is reved about 15 drops of water shoot out of each exhaut pipe. what could this mean. its a new exhaust that does have a leak but coulod it posibly have to do with carb tuning too rich or lean? let me know please

Does it smell sweet? White is usually coolant.

Thats normal. Its just condensation built up inside the exhaust. Depending on how much smoke is coming out, if its billowing out then you have a big problem (head gasket), if its just a little thats normal.

What about the amount of water coming out when the smoke goes away? Or will that go away with time also?

It sounds normal, but just to be sure like the others said you can smell it to see if it smells sweet (coolant) also the texture will be very slick and tacky after you rub it around. Also check radiator for oil in the antifreeze any of these point to a leaking headgasket. It could be blowing raw fuel out but it will be running rough and you should be able to smell it, good luck.

an engineer once told me that an engine will burn almost as much water/vapor as fuel. not sure how true that is, but sounds about right. but now that i think of it, he may have meant it PRODUCED as much water as fuel is used, in the context of a car with cats. either way, waters normal.

Condensation in your tank being burned with the fuel or leaking head gasket. Like others said, check your water level to see if it has gone down, water in oil, oil in water. Mine sat for awhile and I had it for a short time, the water at tailpipe ans white smoke. It went away and never came back. Mine was condensation in the exhaust ot tank. It is gone and never to return. However, make no assumptions. Check the oil and stuff before blowing it off. Good luck! Probably un-related, but symptom is the same. My mower on a hill, with water in the gas maybe from sitting, will smoke like crazy...white too. A couple passes and the water is sucked from the bottom...done.
