Glasspacks (cherry bombs) sound allright after the packing material burns out of them. But they produce like 300% backpressure, so theyre not a very good performance muffler (resonator).

Depends on the size of the engine. Anything over a 302 does not need glasspacks...glasspacks will just make your smaller engines sound like a big block.

Yeah, since we are asking for opinions here, glasspacks sound like they are old burned out mufflers. Today's market has so much better low rumble mufflers available. Ravin, is my choice. Flowmaster seems to be the choice of many, and Dyno Flow is also a good choice and favored by many. Do some research.

Whatever blow up your dress, but I would rather be able to carry on a conversation inside the car. I don't have mufflers to impress someone else. Just me........
