Vinyl Top/Paint Combos
Hi, I have a 1965 coupe with a black vinyl top, the top is in FANTASTIC condition, like new...unfortunately the paint is not, it is not horrible however it has enough chips and is old enough that I am going to have it repainted. It is currently Wimbolden white with the black top and black interior. I really love red and yellow 65 coupes but I dont know how they will look with the vinyl top, nothing against the white, I like it too, but it's time for a change. Would any of you with any early year coupe mustang with vinyl top post pictures please? I would just like to get some ideas, most of the shows I go to dont have many cars with vinyl tops. I really hope I'm spelling vinyl right, I've used it for about 8 sentences and I'm not sure! [8D]
Anyway, please post pics of your car with vinyl top! Thanks in advance!

I've heard that they arent very hard to take off, I've also heard the myth that they were used to cover imperfections on the roof, I really dont believe that one but it could be true, I really dont want to find out. I feel that having the black Vinyl top is kind of limiting my choices on a color, although that black on black on black looks MEAN! I like it alot, but here in Texas I imagine that would get really hot as a daily driver [:@]
