i got my complete exhaust setup and it's not pleasing me much. it does sound good and all it's just that it got so much quieter than i had expected. i wanted a really loud exhaust and it isn't at all. i was wondering if this is do mainly to having tailpipes. i mean my friends inline 6 is louder than mine and i'm wondering if it's because he just has turndowns. could anybody help me out on this?

 

i got flowmasters with turndowns and it just gives your car a little rumble, deeper tone. im ordering a OFF-ROAD x pipe and long tube headers tonight![sm=happy046.gif]

DUDE... just cut the the piping off right after the muffler should help a little bit...right??

 

my dilemma is that i paid an extra 100 for tail pipes. so i don't want to ruin something i paid extra for. but if it makes that big of an improvement than i will. i was also thinking about putting flamethrowers on and i can only do that with tailpipes.

You need a good set of headers.

 

But, he has an inline 6. So make that singular.....Header....
