Default Plans for your Stang

How did you guys plan out what you were going to do with you Mustang? I'm having a problem because I change my mind about once a month and it winds up costing me money about once a month Yes...I have ADD. Did you keep the plans in your head or did you put it on paper or was it in a book or what? If you wrote it out what kind of format did you use? If you used a book which one?

What ever we find that needs to be done, and whatever I want to get replaced. Right now its body work. Engine runs which is fine for now. After the body work is done, Ill get it painted and after its painted Ill work on the interior. After that safety upgrades and other stuff I want added to it.

It has to run and be safe first, then when all that stuffs workin (motor and not any big leaks) all body work is done. Then work on interior, then paint. Performance next. Simple power adders (carb intake cam) You can switch painting and performance upgrades around if you want, I want to look good goin fast

I just wanted mine to look like an original car, except for my wheels. I like originality.

my seven step plan

1 Buy completely original car at estate sale
2 Let daughter drive it until she wrecks it
3 get mad and completly dissasemble car
4 Lose half the parts
5 Buy lots of parts to replace those lost or ruined
6 Try to remember how it all goes back together
7 Pray i can finish it before im too old to drive

Sort of resembles mine...

1) Buy completely original car at Mustang Dealer
2) Let no one drive so that they don't wreck it
3) Get mad because I'm having trouble disassembling the car
4) Lose half the parts
5) Take way too long to get $ to buy lots of parts in order to replace those lost or ruined
6) Try to remember how it all goes back together
7) Pray I can finish it before I'm old enough to drive

See...practically the same

When I started seeing the Pro-Touring/G Machine cars really start to take off that is when I knew that is the direction I wanted to go with mine. I never looked back and don't regret the path I have taken mine. Set up pro-touring style the car is so useable. Check out this site and you will see what the it means to set one up this way if you have not already heard of it.
